Which Kobo Do I Have?
Kobo eReaders look alike from a distance, but case dimensions, button placement and the cut-outs for the charging port and camera differ from model to model. A case only fits if it is made for your exact device. Here is how to check in under a minute.
Check the model in your device settings
On the Home screen, tap More, then Settings and About. The device name and model number appear at the very bottom of that screen, for example "Kobo Libra Colour" and "N428". The model number is also stamped into the underside of the device.

Visual clues if Settings won't open
- Kobo Libra 2 and Libra Colour have two physical page-turn buttons on one edge and a widened bezel on that side.
- Kobo Clara BW, Clara Colour and Libra Colour have their power button on the back of the case.
- Older Aura models use a slide switch instead of a push button to power on.

It is stamped into the underside of the Kobo, and repeated under Settings > About at the very bottom of the page.
Does a Kobo Clara BW case also fit the Clara Colour?
Both share the same shape, so we list them in one collection. For every other model pair, only the exact matching model will fit.
My Kobo is too old to show a name in Settings — what now?
